Description
The friendly bacterial strains included in Biome Balance Youth are Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum. These strains have been used in the majority of studies conducted on the gut microbiome.
The bacteria contained in Biome Balance Youth are heat-dried and encapsulated in delayed-release, enteric-coated capsules.
These capsules are made from an acid-resistant, enteric-coated polysaccharide matrix, which ensures the viability of the bacteria as they pass through the stomach and supports their successful colonization of the intestine.
Biome Balance Youth is recommended in situations where the balance between beneficial and harmful bacteria in the gut microbiome is disrupted, such as:
• during or after antibiotic use
• when traveling abroad (traveler’s diarrhea)
• in the elderly
• during periods of stress
