The anti- embolic knee socks of the German company Medi with a compression of 18mmHg are an ideal choice for the prevention of thrombosis & embolic episodes. Aimed at patients in the preoperative – postoperative phase & lying down for an extended period of time.
Immobility, long sitting position & standing are factors that burden the blood circulation, resulting in the concentration of blood in the lower extremities.
Anticoagulant socks achieve a gradual reduction of the pressure exerted from the ankle to the thigh with a constant compression of 18mmHg, helping the venous return of blood.
