The 3M ™ Littmann® Master Cardiology ™ Stethoscope incorporates tuned diaphragm technology – a 3M patent – that allows clinicians to hear sounds of different frequencies by simply adjusting the pressure in the bell. Unlike two-sided models, there is no need to turn the other side and re-position the bell. Hold the bell with light pressure to hear low-frequency sounds. Press a little more to hear higher frequency sounds. This feature saves time and allows the healthcare professional to focus on the patient, while the non-freezing rim ensures patient comfort. The headphone tension power is easily adjusted for head size and desired comfort, pushing together the metal parts of the headset inwards or outwards. The soft and fit olives are adapted to each ear, for excellent sound insulation and comfortable fit. The olives are firmly attached to the ends of the headphones and, for safety reasons, a special effort is needed to remove them. The durable new generation tubes retain their shape and flexibility even when folded tightly in the pocket. They provide longer life in the stethoscope, due to the improved resistance to skin fats and alcohol, while they are less likely to accumulate stains. The new generation tubes are not made of natural rubber latex, which is an advantage for skin professionals with sensitive skin and for their patients. Alongside, To help protect human health and the environment, new generation tubes do not contain phthalates. This Master Cardiology stethoscope is manufactured in the USA, to ensure consistent quality. Also includes large and small soft olives, special process adapter and instructions.
